My life and my work rests upon three ideas: the innate wholeness of our being, our body as a map of the psyche, and our profound interconnectedness which allows our inner work and life to be an offering to all beings.
These three ideas reflect decades of work in mindfulness based, experiential, process & body centered work.
I offer an educational model of personal transformation that is shaped by continuous studies in neurobiology, depth psychology, lived experience and wisdom traditions.
The delivery systems for my gifts include decades of synthesizing my work as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais(r) Practitioner along with other rich somatic modalities to highlight the essential integration of neuroscience and heart centered introspective practices.
Earning a BA in Whole Systems Thinking & Contemplative Leadership brings structure and natural expression to how I engage. As a Hakomi Body Centered Practitioner I offer a unique, person centered, trauma informed and embodied experience.
Thirty six years+ counting as a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism reveals ongoing insight, compassion and skillful means.
I am the mother of one and grandmother to four beautiful young people. The learnings there are endless and humbling!I am inspired and revitalized by their presence. I am also revitalized by work I do and by those with whom I work. It is my good fortune.
My other interests include music, poetry, writing, hatha yoga, communing with the natural world and study of the various applications of western herbal medicine.
And so you know, I receive supervision and counseling on a regular basis. It’s important for those who work with me to know I am accountable. We are all works in progress.
