I began my vocational journey as a medical massage
therapist in 1987. This opened me to what I understood
intuitively: the inseparability of the bodymind.

Completion of a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Teacher
Training® in 2001, built on earlier experience with
the Laban-Barentieff movement methods and
heightened my passion for somatic education.

Body Mind Centering® teachings enrich my
understanding of developmental movement: work that is
essential for appreciating the arc of human potential.

My personal psycho-emotional work began in 1988 and reflects a deep
commitment to inner transformation. This path parallels my sustained study
and practice of Tibetan Buddhism which began in the same year.

Since 2020, my practices and study place particular emphasis on the
restoration of the feminine principle to its natural place among us
through the guidance of Lama Tsultrim Allione.

Integrating wisdom traditions and trauma informed
embodied inquiry, my approach bridges somatic self-discovery with
Buddhist philosophy, and supports an ongoing journey of
awareness, healing, and realization.

In 2010, I completed a BA from Antioch University Seattle
in Contemplative Leadership & Whole Systems Theory.
This program laid a strong foundation for the synthesis of
interconnectedness and compassionate leadership.

What’s essential to my journey is the conviction
that discovering one’s true nature is both a
personal and collective imperative.

The completion of a Hakomi Body-Centered
Psychotherapy training in 2017 weaves together my
vocational passions: somatic inquiry, spiritual insight, and
the transformative gifts of depth psychology.

I am the author of the audio workbook “Freedom From
Habits of Body & Mind©” a guided somatic journey that
nourishes body, brain, mind, and heart.

This quote from James Baldwin speaks to what I am
about: “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but
nothing can be changed until it is faced.”

What I continue to learn from my mentors coupled with
my lived experience, is that it takes courage and
commitment to face what must be changed and accept
what cannot. And yet, within that process of discernment
is where personal power and creative agency emerge.

What others are saying

“I felt deeply seen, a rare occurrence in my world. I left our sessions feeling softer/gentler, in touch with the diamond that I am.”
